This database was compiled in 2005 by Bob Chown of the Woodchurch Ancestry Group using microfilms obtained from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the original parish registers held at the Centre for Kentish Studies, Maidstone. It was extended with the help of Josie Mackie in January 2008 to its present year range. It contains details of 2312 marriages celebrated at All Saints parish church, Woodchurch, Kent between 1538 and 1978. The database includes all of the information recorded by the officiating Church of England minister and, where available, details of the groom and bride, their respective fathers, and witnesses to the marriage. For marriages occuring before 1837, it is important to read these accompanying notes.
